I took up dog walking a couple of years ago without knowing exactly what to expect. I myself have been the proud owner of an American Bulldog "Jessie" and a Huskie/Shepard "Layla" and currently have a wicked fat cat "Sammie!" I had always enjoyed and taken pride in the care of these dear friends and felt comfortable extending that same affection to ones we might meet in the park or pass on the street. So it only felt natural to pursue dog walking as a fitting and fullfilling way to spend time.
As it turned out, it changed my life! I couldn't believe how much fun and rewarding it was for me to help care for someone's pet. Walking dogs gave me a chance to get to know the families, the doormen, building workers, maids, nannies, fellow dog walkers, tourists, other pet owners and on a few occasions, a celebrity or two!
I eventually retired from walking but after a few months, I really started to miss it. I thought about returning to it part-time, but after much thought, I decided to go ahead and start my own dog walking service.
I feel that I can bring something special to my clients and their pets. I know now, better than ever, that our pets aren't just dogs or cats, they're "Jessie's" and "Sammie's". Some of us want to dress them up and show them off. Some of us don't even care if someone overhears us having conversations with them. I understand this special bond and the care we all want for our little friends.
Through CityK9, I plan on helping you care for yours and I will take that extra step as I would for my own.
Thank you

Claudia
